1. Who we are

AceYourMD is a study platform for the USMLE Step 1 exam, run by Johnny as an individual. In these terms, "we", "us" and "our" mean Johnny, and "you" means the person who uses the site. By creating an account or using the site, you agree to these terms.

2. What you buy

You buy personal access to the AceYourMD notes, question bank and flashcards for a fixed time: 1, 2, 6 or 12 months, depending on the plan. Access is for you alone. It cannot be transferred, shared or resold.

• Your access starts on the day you activate your code, not the day you pay.
• It ends at the end of the plan. Nothing renews by itself and you are never charged again automatically.
• If you redeem another code before your access ends, the new time is added to your current end date.
• Prices are shown on the site and confirmed in the WhatsApp conversation before you pay.

3. Codes and activation

After you pay, we send you an access code. Each code works once. Keep it private until you have activated it: anyone who has the code can activate it. We may cancel a code that was obtained by fraud or by mistake, or that has been published or shared.

4. Your account

• One account is for one person. Give a real name and an email address you can read.
• Keep your password private. You are responsible for what happens under your account.
• You can be signed in on up to 3 devices at once, for example a phone, a tablet and a laptop. When you sign in on a fourth, the device you used least recently is signed out.
• To enforce this and to detect account sharing, we record each sign-in: the time, the type of device, the browser, the IP address and the approximate location (country and city). The Privacy Policy explains this.
• We send a link to confirm your email address when you create your account. Please confirm it, so you can reset your password if you need to.
• Tell us straight away if you think someone else has used your account.

5. What is not allowed

The notes, questions, explanations, diagrams and flashcards took a long time to write. To protect them, you agree not to:

• copy, download, print, photograph, screenshot for distribution, record or otherwise reproduce the content;
• share your account, your password or your code with anyone, or let anyone else use your access;
• sell, publish, upload or pass on any of the content, including to study groups, file-sharing sites, social media or AI tools;
• use bots, scripts or other automated means to read or collect the content, or try to get around the copy protection, rate limits or device rule;
• remove or hide the watermark on the content;
• use the site in a way that breaks the law or harms the site or other users.

The content carries a watermark with your account details, so copies can be traced back to the account they came from.

6. Suspension and closing accounts

If we see signs that an account is being shared, for example use at the same time from places far apart, we may first send a warning in your account and by email. If you break these terms, including by continuing to share your account after a warning, we may suspend or close your account, cancel your codes and keep any data needed to show what happened. If access ends because of a breach, there is no refund. Where we reasonably can, we will tell you why and give you a chance to explain. You can stop using the site and ask us to delete your account at any time; the Privacy Policy explains how.

7. Our content

The notes, questions, explanations, diagrams and flashcards are original work, owned by Johnny. All rights are reserved. Buying access gives you a personal licence to use them for your own study while your access lasts, and nothing more.

We add, correct and update content over time, and we may change or remove parts of it. First Aid for the USMLE Step 1 (2026) page numbers appear next to topics as references for students who own the book; no text, tables, figures or mnemonics from it are reproduced.

AceYourMD is not affiliated with or endorsed by the USMLE, NBME, FSMB, ECFMG or the publishers of First Aid. All trademarks belong to their owners.

8. Education only

AceYourMD is for exam preparation. It is not medical advice and must not be used to diagnose or treat anyone. We work hard to keep the content accurate and current, but mistakes can happen; if you find one, use the Report button. We cannot promise any particular score or result in the USMLE or any other exam.

9. Refunds

You can get a full refund within 7 days of buying your code if you have used less than 10% of the content. A code you have not activated counts as unused. The Refund Policy explains how use is measured and how to ask.

10. Availability and changes

We aim to keep the site available at all times, but it may sometimes be unavailable for maintenance, updates or reasons outside our control. We may change features of the site. If a change takes away something important that you paid for, contact us and we will look for a fair solution.

11. Liability

As far as the law allows, we are not responsible for indirect or consequential losses, for exam results, or for decisions made using the content. As far as the law allows, our total responsibility to you for anything related to the site is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the problem arose. Nothing in these terms limits any responsibility that cannot be limited by law.

12. Privacy

The Privacy Policy explains what we collect, why, and your rights.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. If we make an important change, we will tell you on the site or by email before it applies. We keep a record of the version you accepted when you created your account.

14. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Lebanon.
